I'm one of those people that likes to have a shit while I'm reading.
This is also the reason why I'm banned from Waterstones.

I don't. I don't get it. The loo is uncomfortable. Why would anyone wanna sit on a loo for more time than necessary?
Poo
one up
one down
one to polish
off

Watching the beach volleyball just now. People try to put it down but it requires excellent hand-eye co-ordination... seemingly its even harder when your playing it!

...I'm a bit of a name down my local pub.
Unfortunately, it's a bit of the name "Scunthorpe".... |

Ahem, Stufarq, I believe it was a reference to Mr Weaver's hand-eye-tissue co-ordination...
Our local park made me happy today. Paddling pool, swings AND double decker playbus = eldest two knackered & a chance to curl up with a good book for the afternoon. (No, not in the bog...)

Being able to sleep until 1 pm without being woken up by street noise made me happy today , as I was real tired after my night shift.......
I look around to find a friend for life seeking refuge in your arms splinters of ice thin sharp and cold pierce my freezing skin by the skill of your embrace you show me a grave new world and against the tide and dashed on the rocks the ship of the line comes on in

<shrug> They've been doing something such (booksellers that is) over here for years, andy.
But for me... books + coffee... My two addictions (at least the two I'll admit to... that I take the time to regularly feed) in one place. What's not to like?

Yeah, they're my respectable ones too!
Waterstones just need to provide 1) a cat to stroke & 2) someone to paint my toenails whilst I read. Sorted.

I'll agree on the cat one.
I had to buy another bag to take back the books I bought last time I was in London.
Of course.. the day spent wandering through Picadilly and Oxford Circus, Charing Cross, Covent Garden... many many bookstores ... with a friend following and carrying my purchases for me was nice. (so was the white poets shirt enbroidered vest and black leather pants said, erm, friend was wearing that day too... minions can be fun.)

Wrong! : Cats are indeed the spawn of Satan Herself, anyone who owns a cat is either a woman or lonely, and anyone who owns more than two cats is quite often criminally insane or the cousin of the Blair Witch( Every neighborhood has their very own 'cat woman' that owns dozens of stray cats and if you've ever seen inside her house it's normally rammed with old newspapers piled high and decaying dismembered Postmen)

Yet further substantial proof positive that only a minority of Americans have ever set foot in a library, let alone know how to spell the word Library :)

Now would this be the near legendary Disciple of the Devil, the Lord Lucifer of Londinium himself.. Derek of Deptford?

Of course I'm only joking with you here Wrenn, I got called obnoxious on here the other day..by a matriarchal supreme being more powerful than any man has seen before!

Hey. Here I give you deep, profound, meaningful insight into my psyche... My life, my dreams my goals... EVERYTHING that is of importance to me!!!!! and you go and pick on poor (mostly) defenseless fur-balls.....cats.
I have 3. (and a golden retriever)

Awwww..Ya know I love ya really Wrenn and if you happened to live near the Lincoln Financial Field and could get your hands on Eagles tickets I'd love you even more
But alas.. I fear it is a love that shall remain separated by a body of water and of course the ticket office of the Philadelphia Eagles ( and no they are not crap before you start your usual rant about them ! )

"Oi, what's your disability?"
I said, "Tourettes! Now f*ck off you c*nt!"
