Thats Chrimbo for you. You end up listening to a load of artists you wouldnt normally spit on. Im very guilty of that too.

The original Band Aid is a frigging tune IMO. Thats like White Christmas is to the older generation (like mishmosh).

As Eldritch cant even be arsed to release a decent sounding live album Ive ripped some decent quality stuff from youtube.

Sounds better than most of the bootlegs knocking about anyway.

One of the recent live of them I've got and listened to (just because a friend of mine wanted it), I thought the taper recorded the gig too fast, then I picked up my guitar and I discovered that they were playing so fast that it seemed to me an episode of the Benny Hill Show, rather than a SOM gig

... or maybe they were playing in playback and the sound engineer left casually the FFWD button pressed for the whole show.. who knows
