  1. Will tickets already purchased be nonoured? That’s the main question for us fans who have already parted with our cash!

  2. In other words: the presales are not that great?!

  3. I don’t want to go to the O2 Academy, Birmingham!!!!

  4. Joniaslan says:

sorry, but i want will my money back.Don’t normally travel to see bands but i wanted to see the pomp & swagger of the Mish in a big venue, can’t be arsed to see the Cult or KJ, not interested.

  5. Mittelalter Mat says:

I needed a seated venue as my wife has a curve in her spine and can’t stand for a 4-5 hour gig. Now the Sheffield gig has moved from the Motorpoint to the o2 we’d have to go to the Apollo in Manchester, an extra hour drive, if we’re free that night.

  6. Dimmyuk says:

I’m gutted feel so let down, I have similar problem to Mittelalter Mat. My mum booked tickets for her and me, but as she is 70 (oldest living Mish fan) she cant stand for that long so we cant go either, think it so thoughtless for the promoters to do this…..come on guys we fans age at same rate as the band ya know!!!!!

  7. Disappointing, was travelling from Glasgow for the Manchester gig, hotel booked and paid for and day off work.  No way taking 2 days of work for a Monday night gig in a small venue

  8. very disappointed as have booked time off work and booked hotel for Manchester gig, but now can’t make it due to work commitments.  Can’t get any sense out of ticketmaster re: venues, tickets, refunds.  It’s a real mess.

  9. Til-death says:

Very annoyed about this change, was it due to poor sales? No one seems to know. Expected a little more from my fav band of all time!!!  even the ticket agency dont know whats going on and the tickets i have paid for are not valid for the new venue whats going on?  Plus i paid seat price for a ticket not standing in a sweaty club price?  whats going to be done about it?

  10. I think what upsets me more than no longer being able attend the gig is that (and appologies if i’ve missed it somewhere)  I havent seen any comment from the band on this matter, either on here or on the facebook page, I’m left with an odd sort of feelin, like my best mate didnt turn up at the pub and didnt even call to let me know!!!! I’d only sulk with my mate till she told me why and she was sorry!!!! So………………..

  11. Til-death says:

still nothing from the band or the promoter….this is pretty poor from a band who i thought respected the fans…this was a lot of money to pay for this gig and i am let down a little that still weeks later no one knowsor is finding anything out for the fans…..really excected more….how do others feel?

  12. I was going to Birmingham Arena. Now changed to O2 Academy for a more intimate experience = poor ticket sales. The Mission last played NEC capacity 8,500 in1988. Thought an Arena tour was pretty optomistic even with The Cult. Prefer to be in a smaller venue than a half empty arena. Feet might ache a bit, not as young as i used to be but still be seeing a band that before the Brixton Gig thought we’d never see live again. Stop moaning and enjoy, at the end of the day shit happens.
